Are you interested in challenging the AA community with a visceral sharing of your work or experiments with architecture design, writing, models, videos or work that defies classification? Are you seeking the excitement of an embodied architecture exchange on experimentation?  If yes, it’s time to answer the RICOCHET call.

AA Members and alumni are invited to submit proposals for the RICOCHET 3  scheduled for 30 May 2018. The RICOCHET series, organised by John Andrews and Maria Theodorou, is a platform for AA Members & alumni to bring works in progress to the school to be put under scrutiny by students and colleagues. Intended as an intensive discussion and exchange of ideas, RICOCHET will assemble the AA’s bodies, humours and brains to exercise in the immersive environment of architectural gymnastics.

To submit your interest to discuss your work in progress at the RICOCHET series, send an e-mail to guy.norton@aaschool.ac.uk by 24 April 2018 (deadline). Your e-mail should include the following information:

Personal info: Name, Surname, your title (Dr, Ms, Mrs etc.), your e-mail and AA membership number (If known).

Proposal: A Brief description of the work in progress you would like to discuss, which should contain: your proposal’s title, a text (up to 300 words) and visuals (up to 3 images, or a link to a short video)

Your brief biography:up to 100 words -please indicate relationship to the AA i.e. member, alum

Please submit one proposal only and keep the following dates in your diary:

Submission of interest: by 24 April 2018 DEADLINE

Notification to successful proposals: 2 May 2018

RICOCHET 3 Discussion: 30 May 2018
